My husband and I were so excited for this location to open up but it was just a mediocre experience at best.

The restaurant was fresh and clean and the ambiance was really nice. They did a good job putting it all together! Looked great in there!

We had been used to the Loving Hut in Orange and knew that each location had their own unique menus so weren't surprised that they offered different eats.

What surprised me most though was how TINY the portions were. We ordered fries and they literally come out on a tiny rectangle plate stacked carefully and neatly like they were really going for presentation and not quantity. I was there with my mom and husband and we had expected there to be enough fries for us all to share but sadly that wasn't the case AT. ALL.

For the main course we ordered their chow mein and it was just okay. Portion was at least better than the fries but it wasn't anything to write home about...or anything come back about.

The server was fine...and I think one of the owners was there as well. My thought was with the location being so new and with there not being very many people in there it was the perfect time to make an impression and perhaps go out of your way a little to make sure our first experience was a memorable one. I guess we are spoiled by Chi at the Orange location because she makes sure to learn your name, and remember you and your order when you come in the next time.

But this review isn't meant to bash or deter anyone from trying it out. It may have changed since?! And the wonderful part is that there is definitely room for improvement here!!

We know it takes a LOT to run a brick and mortar business these days and that they have put in many hours getting this spot to where it is now. But in order to keep things going you gotta go the extra mile and keep people wanting to come back!

We love that this Loving Hut offers Huntington Beach one more option for vegan eats! Just work on the customer service and maybe play around with making your food a little more flavorful and don't be afraid to give a basket of fries!

Good luck moving forward HB Loving Hut and welcome to town!

I'm so thrilled another Loving Hut location was opened in HB!  I was a big fan of their past location in FV.   The new location is very nice inside,  the same great food and even new items on the menu!  This is one of the best vegan restaurants in the area!   My server Paula,  was extremely nice and the customer service was excellent, too. So nice!   I give this restaurant & staff five stars!  :)

Food is so savory, makes my mouth water thinking about it.  I have been here five times in one month... I used to frequent Loving Hut back in San Francisco so I was excited to see them finally open in HB!

Portions vary from when you take-out or eat in but I never had a complaint. Decent portions and everything I've tried tastes great. I brought my meat-eater friend the happy Mongolian and she liked it! The service is fast and the food is made to order. I see the owner whenever I go in and she seems nice, the only server/cashier there is always friendly.

Not a fan already and this place barely opened.

My mom was around the area and I placed a pick up order for $6 nachos and some chow mein.

Tell me why the nachos had like 7 sad little chips and 10 little black beans for $6. You can tell they're not high quality ingredients either so I don't understand why they really skimped out.

Anyways, I tried contacting them first and they never replied. I'll keep going to the other loving huts in Orange and Garden Grove.
